Players are not allowed to take people to their rooms when they are playing. If they hooked up with cheerleaders..that is against the rules. Were any of these girls sent to the players by vested interests? Were they following rules or staying out during match nights like rahul confessed? Are you implying that these guys are only supposed to make love during cricket off season (during 1-2 months in a year)? If that is the case, Shami would have been punished. Wives / GFs would never have been allowed on tours During major ICC tournaments, it is understandable to have some guidelines but not during regular tours / series, which these players are on almost every month Edited January 12, 2019 by zen UrmiSinhaRay 1

There was nothing to apologize for as they didn't say anything wrong. I feel their PR agencies made a mistake by giving out the statements that they did. Their Cricket form is not helping them either and the many losers on social media are targeting them because of that. They should've sticked to their words and defended it. Exactly. If you are so offended - don’t watch such shows. Stick to watching KJo films staring SRK which has that aa aa aa music with families crying Real McCoy, Kannadiga and Trichromatic 3

sandsaims Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Diana Edulji seems to have become a huge hindrance to indian cricket, its very clear she has an agenda and now the talk of Hardik and rahul missing out on world cup is ridiculous and she doesnt seem to want a quick enquiry even though this might hurt Indian cricket badly. It was two young guys speaking their mind on a talk show and what they do on their personal life should be nobodys business. A warning might have sufficed but this lady now wants a enquiry committee. What will they even enquire about, whatever was said is already in front of the world, so what will this enquiry committee even do? Jimmypage, UrmiSinhaRay, Kannadiga and 4 others 1 1 5

She's just a rabid feminist and a traitor to her own country trying her best to spoil a man's game and India's chances at the WC. I dont know about Rahul but Pandya is a gun allrounder in ODIs atleast. sandsaims 1

Not surprised that BCCI was quick in taking action. They can't afford any negative image among Indian public. Dont try to cut off the hand which feeds you. there are some guys who are not Sharp and Intelligent or Possibly not Matured. I think many cricketers are involved in a lot of FUN...but they don't openly speak over like that. I met robin uthappam at the airport, he was so decent and so nice , he was wonderful. zen Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 (edited) If you want to ape west (CA here) at least understand how it works: West: legal -> Ethical > $ Ind: $ -> ethical -> legal legally, there is nothing wrong with Pandya and KL appearing on such shows and expressing their opinion. A professional body like BCCI should be expected to take its stand accordingly One one hand you allow the captain of Ind cricket team to use foul language on the platform where he/team is professionally representing India, go out of the way to defend Sachin when he was caught on tape tampering with the ball .... on the other hand, get involved with handing out bans based on those who should not be watching such shows (not the target audience) .... playing to the gallery is not leadership, which BCCI has never shown Edited January 12, 2019 by zen Kannadiga, flamy, velu and 1 other 4

prasen82 Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 I think ban them for 4 odis and be done with it. Don't bring more publicity to it. It will be a lesson for life. And going forward have sensitization and media management coaching for all players. Else in front if media behave like bill belichick - coach of NE Patriots a NFL team. Switchblade Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Quote Hardik Pandya to lose out on an endorsement deal after controversial Koffee with Karan show: Reports https://www.hindustantimes.com/cricket/hardik-pandya-to-lose-out-on-an-endorsement-deal-after-controversial-koffee-with-karan-show/story-zYCYAJCQLaXOqpUEhZBRjP.html Things just keep getting worse for Hardik Pandya. After being sent home from the ODI series against Australia due to his ‘sexist’ comments on Koffee with Karan, the all-rounder is set to miss out on a big endorsement deal, according to reports. The owners of a top-rated fitness brand have lost interest in Pandya after his remarks on the chat show. India on Friday suspended cricketers Hardik Pandya and Lokesh Rahul and ordered them to leave the tour of Australia amid an investigation into comments made about women on a TV celebrity show. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said the pair would be stopped “from playing any form of cricket after their comments on a TV show. “The duo will now return to India and an enquiry and proceedings will be made against them for misconduct and indiscipline.”
