SecondSlip Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 The team management are perfectly fine with picking youngsters like Shaw, Agarwal, Vihari, Pant in the test team but do the complete opposite in ODIs by sticking with unestablished oldies. AuxiliA and GolGappe 2

R!TTER Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 (edited) Yes, except Khaleel hasn't done anything of note to be in the side! In fact if you see his performance outside the Asia Cup, he's at best a quicker version of BK without the batting ability & worse fielding He's probably there just because someone said we need a left arm pacer Edited January 12, 2019 by R!TTER UrmiSinhaRay 1

He has changed his approach after Asia for some reason but I am sure he will realize it and get back to his old bowling method.

And that is such a wrong policy. Just pick your best pacers for best results. A left arm pacer should be picked only if he is a good enough bowler. King Tendulkar Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Test team Kohli and Shastri being given free hand to pick and do what want. You can see in tjeir ruthless picks and constant piukcing of new upcoming players You can see in white ball cricket they have no free reign. Politics abounds. There hands are tied to certain extent.
