You mean they where scoring runs , dosent necessarily mean they where winning us matches . One is inconsistent and other only scores soft runs , most overrated opening pair ever .

Rohit scored match winning centuries in SA, ENG & was MOS in ENG T20 series.

Dhawan gave quick starts in SA, Top scorer in Asia cup.

Idk what soft runs means imo. Both have won you matches single handedly. Soft runs means scoring in bilaterals? then even kohli is soft scorer till now.

I am not going to bother about top 3 at this point. They have been the highest run getters. World no.1 ranked batsman Kohli. World no.2 ranked batsman Rohit sharma. That factors runs against good opposition as well.  Dhawan's form has dipped especially with respect to converting the starts. He has some familiar mode of dismissals. Falling over against left arm seamers, getting caught at point while slashing,  getting caught at third man while playing upper cut then there is another way of getting out to bouncer. Teams are upto speed against his favorite shots and they bowl and set field accordingly. He has to come out with different plans. I wouldn't worry about Rohit. India's problem is middle order.

Our player need rest they fed up with Schedule of non stop cricket

That is exactly what they need. They play in every goddamn series opening. You will eventually start looking more and more scratchy. Bit of time off is needed. THey will be back.

Issue is middle order is too weak to score something over 6+ rpo if we got to make 150+ runs. If top order fails to give stable start then middle order will fail badly and problem atm is all top 3 is failing in every other match.

Let’s just say you and me have very different definition of match winner .

Depends on what ball they're using, there's a chance they might use white Dukes. Also the tournament starts early season & ends mid season, don't expect the same flat tracks everywhere, through the WC unless the ICC has directed their curators to do a repeat of WC 2015 which was absolutely pathetic given how lifeless those were.

50/3, 100/3, 150/3, 200/3 India will always find themselves in trouble with the current middle order.
