What a stupid move to change the name of the organization. Delhi had the coolest most original name in the IPL. Capitals is a lousy name. I don't like superstitions. They didn't win because of the name but because they suck. They should have spent more time in coaching and other personnel rather than changing names.

Gmr was a poor management and Jsw are trying to take over the team so these changes happened.

This is the team to watch out for in case if we think world cup selection could be impacted by the iPL

Dhawan is a certain only guy I can think of is Pant as selection don't see Iyer or Shaw getting selected.

Yeah but they didnt have to change the name. It was a cool name. If you think of Mumbai Indians, you know how shitty that name is. It was a unimaginative copy from Cleveland Indians of the MLB (Baseball). Mumbai drug mafia or Mumbai Pakistanis would be a much better name

The playing XI is balanced and strong. Boult, Rabada & new Ishant is a pretty good combo. They can make it to qualifiers.

Dhawan, Axar etc is the brain child of the new owner. Backing young upcoming players Iyer,Pant etc. full credit to the old owner. Greatest franchise owner in all sports :hatsoff:

The great owner who was happy coming last in the competition gave dumb statements we will come back stronger next year only to win the wooden spoon again chances are Jsw will take over this team from GMR completely would be great to get rid of those useless owners perhaps your Srh team can have him.

You are reading this totally wrong.

Let me give you an example- Apple is probably the top 2-3 companies in the world but how many of the common folk even know who Tim Cook is. I am sure Cook is competent in his own right but he is not a visionary, path breaker like Steve Jobs under whose leadership Apple struggled for many years in terms of revenue etc even became bankrupt( wooden spoon) .This is same as people applying stats and seeing things with numbers. No one remembers Tim Cook, everyone appreciates Steve Jobs.

The Old Delhi team owner is in the same league as Steve Jobs. A true visionary and path breaker. He has revolutionized how Franchises should be run and handle rookies. They create quality superstars and identify the next big thing. They identify meandering cricketers and turn them into icon. ABDV 360 degrees (iPhone)Dilscoop(iPod) and a then nobody like Warner(iPad) all broke out under this great man.

Learn to appreciate this genius. You are lucky that you support the same team that was once owned by this amazing owner.

But he did let them go and again what about the embarrassing defeats under him where he was smiling and laughing like it was a great thing he never cared about the team or fans infact he destroyed the DD fanbase where people at Kotla cheer for opposition teams.

So you want him to cry and throw a hissy fit. The fact that he was smiling and keeping his cool amidst adversity speaks volumes of what kind of a fine human being. A visionary + a fine human how many people like that exist in this world :hatsoff:stop being a hater.

Also he was sharing his creations to the world shows he was not selfish. What a person. Should be given Nobel prize :hail:
