But like you said there will be politics played either way

Not a single drop more for non resident chennaites that is Tamilians. I cringe every time I hear the MS Subbalakshmi version where she singlehandedly killed Telugu with her pronunciation. Most overrated singer ever won awards only due to Tamil quota. coffee_rules 1

This is going to be an environmental disaster unless a proper impact assessement study is conducted. If there is substantial drainage and wastage they can have more dams but i am sure its not the case. Chennai needs desalination at large scale.

How could you even say that? Bharat Ratna MSS is the greatest singer of India, how could you even rant about some trivial as pronounciation, every tone from her voice has divinity. Go back listening to SPB versions. MSS is not from Tamil quota, she is world famous. Tamilians have disowned her and she belongs to the world.
