Yes......they believe they have it in the form of shakib....but honestly, he is mediacore player with very good form in this tournament...

they need someone like punter or sachin or kohli sort of player to start getting the respect from other nations and inspiring their next generation.

I think Das could be one of them

Sowmya is gifted but he throws it away way too quickly. Liton has got a champions mentality . Clutch player who delivers when needed. Raised his game in Asia Cup final and yesterday when BD absolutely needed it. Respect!

Soumya, Liton, Sabbir, Midget, Mahmudullah, Tamim....not just the runs, all those players have classy strokeplay. Bangladesh following the India template as far as batting and spin bowling is concerned. 

 

Hope to see Soumya partner up with Liton at the top, considering their age they could form a fruitful opening pair to serve Bangladeshi cricket for many years.

Bangladesh is pretty good team in odis. I will say 2nd best asian team after india currently. With downfall of pak & srilanka it's good to see side like bangladesh doing well.

If they get one Bumrah/Shami like fast bowler , then I believe they will seriously challenge us. Without Shakib and Tamim, they almost had us in the Asia cup final. 

They are a vastly improved side now.

Hands down Tamim and Shakib are there best bats. But op is right, Litton has that mental strength which makes him better than technically  he is

Needs minimum lift and pull for the bouncer. You can see that from the 3 6ss he hit yesterday

Timing is near perfect.

 

However he was also an opener and had to sacrifice his position to Sowmya Sarkar

Shakib is an allrounder. Rarely are all-rounders pleasing to the eye.
