Toughest route - Ban.. win against India and Pak and hope England lose at least one of their games

 

Medium toughness - England... Win both matches against India and NZ and be certain.. or win one of the two and hope that Pak and Ban win only one each.

I think England has the tough route because even if they beat India, England will run into Williamson boys and more than likely one of their two openers will go bezerk. Guptil has been bit unlucky in few games and had a decent starts earlier and is likely to fire at some point. England really needs to play top cricket to not just beat India, but also New Zeland. Beating NZ will be as hard as beating India. 
 

And if it was a spicy pitch, Boult will run through their top order..

Pakistan. England will be under tremendous pressure to win both matches. BD needs to beat both PAk and India which is unlikely. Pakistan just need to beat BD and hope that England oses atleast one. That looks most likely to me.

With NZ loosing left/right, 2 semi spot opened up. These incompetent nincanpoop team were on track to be #1. Even if England wins both, both BD and pak can smell fresh NZ RR blood. A heavy defeat against England could see their rr go down the gutter. It could potentially be NZ out either BD/pak in

Old Trafford: Kangaroos (or Bears) vs. Kiwis (or Markhors/Tigers)

Edgbaston: Bears (or Kangaroos) vs. Bulldogs (a rematch for tomorrow's game at the same venue)

in round robin if teams having the same points like PAK NZ ll have 11 then Nrr does not come to the picture. The one team which won in leauge game ll go through next round
