in this scenario if dhoni had gotten out, people would have bitched that why he didn't take it to the end. people love to complain but match was lost with tuk tuk from top order.

Jadhav just got to the crease so one can at least say in his case that he was not yet in to get his timing right. But this Dhoni had already spent long time in the middle.

its not ideal, but after 46th over, I think they knew they wouldn't win so they did the next best thing. lets learn from our mistakes so this doesn't happen again. even with this tuk tuk, we got to 306. that says a lot about our capabilities

Can't believe people are blaming Rohit and Kohli. Those guys laid down a good base and Rohit did his usual acceleration later on. With the way our middle order bats, if these guys would have got out before 20 overs, Dhoni would have pettered around for 80* (120) and chase would have been over much earlier.

Would you rather try and be a failure or purposely fk up something because you think you are going to fail anyways. Also let’s say your  theory that they were trying to get to a total for nrr, then why was he swinging in the last over and taking risks?

 

If the team is thinking about nrr instead of winning a target that is reachable then something is wrong with the team

Nope it was a cowardly approach and players have been fired before for this. No cowardly team has ever won the world cup before
