zen Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 (edited) At the start, many of us would have been happy to see the bears in SF, and the team did book a spot today. After being knocked out early in 2007, this will be our 3rd SF appearance in a row! We may or may not become the champs but we did play some memorable cricket and for that, the team deserves applause (big or small per your criteria). If we are destined to win the cup, even a Bumrah will hit a last ball 6. If not, even our best will falter. Rather than worry about results too much, let's have fun in this last phase (minimum 2 games + potential F) Bears, thank you for another set of good memories: Edited July 3, 2019 by zen Norman and Real McCoy 2

Vijy Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 we have been consistent, but in a sport with only 4-5 top teams and 4-5 of the 2nd tier, we should have achieved more in 2007 and 2015 WCs. I am hoping that we at least make finals this time.
Vilander Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 If you look at total runs scored in WC. Rohit is right at the top and Kohli is there and there abouts.. after that KL Rahul down below and then Dhoni. You miss Dhawan big time. He is the difference between India consistently putting up 330 scores.
Pandya_Power Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 (edited) Incredibly proud of the team for having overcome some last minute injuries to key players! They have reached semis in style. By far the best team, if not for points lost due to rain-outs. 3 major ODI tournaments in England this decade - 2013 CT, 2017 CT and CWC 2019 - so far we have won 1, reached finals of the other and at least reached KOs in the last. Couple this with our performances across the globe - Aus (2015 WC), SA (whitewash) and our 2011 WC win in SC - we really are the most consistent team of the decade. Thoroughly deserve our ODI ranking. Edited July 3, 2019 by Pandya_Power

Not making SF would be pathetic. Its not an achievement to get there. Anything less than a finals appearance is a disappointment for this team. Anything can happen in one game, so can't say they have to win it all as a requirement.
Yoda-esque Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Was good while it lasted,Thanks BearsSent from my LM-Q710.FG using Tapatalk

In fact with all these factors ind fans should be demanding the team to win every tourney as Oz fans expect of their team.
flamy Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 What's this bears BS? You started calling them bears and we lost our first match in the WC.
