As a fan, you have to take the good with the bad.  We have all suffered the consequences of Dhoni's bad decisions in multiple tournaments.  My first ever chance to watch India play cricket in WT20, was ruined by Dhoni's decision to bowl spinners into the wind against Australian batsmen.  Even blatant mishits by Watson floated over the boundary.  
 
I can still see th next WT20 self-inflicted loss when we had peak Yuvraj, and peak Yusuf at our disposal, and Dhoni chose to send in Jadeja who couldn't hit the ball off the square.  
 
And many others.  And so many with the bat, over the last 2 years, where he has been a shadow of the great ODI bat he once was.  
 
It is what it is.  At the end of the day, are you a fan of the team, only when they win?  Are you only going to root for them, when they give you the tribal satisfaction of victory?  

I really don't remember any meaningful match against good attack which Dhoni won by taking it to last over.

     Think about it . The game became  a bit close due to only one man  - Jadeja.  

      He is not even your main batsman , a bowling all rounder while at the other end you had  a main batsman , " alleged" great

      finisher of all time . 

      But look at the contribution in their partnership . In 100+ partnership , Jadeja makes 77  ( almost 75%) while your main

      batsman  makes 25% . That means putting so much pressure on Jadeja to maintain high run rate .   Thus one guy was made

      to take high risk while other just did tuk- tukiya.

Any self respecting management will sack people who are responsible for this. The way Dhoni batted was pathetic. He should have atleast batted at 75 strike rate, he just put all the pressure on the batsman at the other end. What's the point of his innings. Top order should be sacked too. You can't go in knowing fully what is going to come and still look like clowns. One ball was a preacher everything other was nothing delivery. 
1. Rohit - got a peacher but he should have been lot more proactive.
2. Kohli - only a *ing moron will play across the stumps in a seaming wicket. Totally **** batting.
3. Rahul - fishing for a delivery in a sixth stump line. 
4. Pant and Pandya - Both played well and both got out to nothing deliveries.
5. Dk - He *ing doesn't merit a line.
6. Jadeja - was surprised, plated out of his skin
7. Dhoni - if he has any shame he should retire now.

Tell me why Jadeja should be dropped.He always gives all-round performance including fielding.In Odis, we need these kind of players only.

I was the first that raised this issue before the squad was selected.

 

We needed Pujara in the team to lock up one end for the entire innings.

Number 3 & 4 are kind of glue of the batting order, they should hold the innings together until the final onslaught. Dhoni should have come in early today, given his tuk tuk he could have held one end. He is no longer a finisher, we didn’t need rahane or pujara. 

 

The team poorly handled dhoni imo, he can no longer do the magical 15+, 20+ final overs. His reflexes aren’t that good, bowlers know to stay away from his slot. This isn’t a secret, the team should have quickly reassessed and asked him to start the onslaught little earlier. Why they let him to wait until the last overs in beyond me.

Rohit...law of averages had to hit him, he is human after all. On a seaming wicket Henry got lucky to get the best batsman of the world cup by a margin.

Kohli had to be careful but I think he was wrongly given Out.some personnel rivalry and kohli was fixed. No umpire gives out when the ball is that high.

Either the pressure got on umpire when boult appealed.

Kohli unlucky.

 

Rahul got too much on the back foot..had he survived he would have nicked other ball.

 

Hardik and pant were batting beautifully...hardik was unlucky.

Pant continued to bat carelessly and proving that his talent is Dadebaaj style...when u will need him most he will fail.

 

Karthik- his selection was a surprise..kedar is a much better batsman. Karthik has failed all his life. He came to bat in an ultra defensive frame of mind. One has to play the ball not the pressure..he was playing the pressure. God also was against him because sometimes this defensive technique gets you saved out of tough times and one hits later..dhoni always tries that. Now a days he fails most often.

 

Msd is fooling Indian team ..if he cant bat against spinners why is he playing. Even a grand mother in India knows he cant play left arm spinners.his technique is wrong.

Finally culprits Dhoni karthik pant.

On such a pitch New Zealand would have scored 150. Shammi would have got a fifer.
