If people think Brandu and his banar sena could have won in presence of smith and warner lets wait for next test series in aus. Why wait that long. They will completely pwn us at home. Check Smith's last tour here. India struggled to dismiss him both at home and away. Compare that to Rat's average against Aus in India. It was in single digits. If Rat played in the last test, we would have lost the series. Thank god for Rahane and his excellent captaincy working with Kumble in the background. Rat has battlwala in the background. You heard it here first. They will beat us in India after 2004 if rat-bewda combo continues to operate Vijy and raki05 2

nevada Posted January 21, 2021 Posted January 21, 2021 Hell yeah! Us winning the series deciding 4th test with a depelted side is the equivalent of Australia winning against us at Kolkata without Smith, Lyon, Starc, Cummins and Hazelwood.
IndianRenegade Posted January 21, 2021 Posted January 21, 2021 This thread is golden! nevada and rollingstoned 1 1

Australia would have smashed us to the floor with Smith and Warner but still credit to our batters that they battled well against their bowlers. At least I had given credit to our batters
Lone Wolf Posted January 21, 2021 Posted January 21, 2021 People don't realise how Close was that Adelaide Game in 2018.. If Smith & Warner were there we'd have lost that game for sure. This series a lot of things have clicked for us.. Rahane's bold calls have been amazing.. Just like his inclusion of Kuldeep in Dharamsala test in 2017. Ashwin was amazing & he was looking the Best spinner in the IPl even.. Out smarting everyone. That was ATG level stuff from Ash this series
bowl_out Posted January 21, 2021 Posted January 21, 2021 With Smith and Warner and without 8 of our starting 11... Hell yeah!!

Soldier Posted January 21, 2021 Posted January 21, 2021 We would have won in 2018 even if Smith Warner played. Because Kohli doesn't lose games when he wins tosses in red ball cricket. Also we dint have our best openers then. We are actually stronger now with batting whilst bowling peaked in 2018. I think 2018 if Mayank in the form he had been played from the beginning of the series along with say Gill or Shaw who was in form too at the time, India would have won that year regardless whether Smith played or not.
