What is with the Southies?

Most of your CMs are actors. General trajectory: Act in a collection of forgettable movies for the better part of a decade -> Achieve a 75% body fat type structure -> Become CM.

Come on.

Come on.

All the advanced cultures do that. Ronald Regan was the president of the USA, so is another famous reality star Donald Trump :)

Jokes apart I think in terms of actors turned politicians Jayalalita was the best, she was a super smart lady, articulate, well read and a master politician.

I think if any actor/politician deserves a biopic it’s here. A very intriguing story here .

However it’s going to be a typical Bollywood masala film clearly

Come on.

We have never elected an actor as a CM in Karnataka, but a lot of them become actors after becoming CM

I think things are changing now.

A lot of actors are not winning anything, who jumped into the fray based on their popularity.

Pawan Kalyan, Chiranjeev, Kamal Hasan drew a blank or close to it - despite being quite popular as actors.

This is a big reason why Rajnikant is so afraid to jump in.  Despite his massive popularity he might not win anything.

That era is over. These days public come to actors' rallies but don't vote for them. They have become wiser. In TN, Kamal Hasan and Rajnikanth tried their hand at politics and discovered that it's a different ball game. Pavan Kalyan in AP failed utterly miserably despite drawing big crowds to his rallies.

Remember OPS carrying this around everywhere to symbolize his leader

Image result for jayalalitha photo ops

When she was in jail they put her portrait in CM chair :phehe:

In public platforms often her chair would be at a higher level.

This is how oath taking was conducted in TN...others should copy it cos it saves precious time.

Because, whether is a conjunction word it can be used at the start, and can be used at the start of a sentence using a comma after it.

not in the context of the sentence used here. There is a comparison , there needs to be definition of the compared to item in front.

Everything you've said in this thread is wrong. You really are so clueless that this isn't even fun.

First off, 'whether' can be used as an alternator/double conjunction (or not) and not a comparator. Also, whether or not 'whether' is used as an alternator depends on whether the said 'whether' is used to negate the second part of the sentence structure. Alternately, 'whether' can be used instead of 'if'.

Take some time and re-read the last 2 sentences so that you finally understand some grammar.

Perhaps you should just stick to talking about video games and stuff.

Shameful body shamming of a dead populist politician not a new low for an istani, it's what's in their culture. Merely just about right in terms of bigotry seen from this particular poster.
