Looking ahead KL vs Dhawan whom will you choose in ODI Cricket?

KL vs Dhawan is not even a question in t20 cricket- unless ur kohli, kohli bhakt or bhajji die hard fan ......the only 3 ppl who will choose other way

 

Neways now comes the question of ODI cricket coz dhawan has been one of the Top batsman in ODI cricket . KL has batted well even though his s/r dropped in between still not bad for a guy who doesnt have a secure place . Question being raised coz Dhawan will be on wrong side of age during 2023 Wc and Rahul looks to be in good form .  A player in good form shudnt be dropped . Looking at next year t20 Wc Rahul will become better with more n more international games 

 

So now the question lies whom will u choose among both ???

 

 

 

Rohit looks to have formed a great rapport with Rahul as well

From now on, Rahul playing anywhere other than as an opener will be a travesty. Time to say thank you to Dhawan. If at all he has to play, can only be when Rohit rests.

KL, age is not on Dhawan's side and we don't have a CT in 2 years time. I would like to see KL keep more, at least in domestics and IPL. That will free up a spot for our 2023 squad.

Rahul. I am hoping captaincy at KXIP enhances his game and he becomes more of a stalwart in the lineup than just a support cast. He is in the shadow of Rohit and Virat at the moment. He has the game to get on par with them but I am happy he is becoming consistent, dominance will hopefully follow.

Dhawan plays odis as long as he is fit.He is too a good an odi player to be dropped for Rahul.Rahul has age on his side.

At this point i think he is not even told that he is aggresor...looks more like he is told to follow kohli or rohit template

In domestic this yr he has kept both in Sma n VH trophy...in IPL it ll depend on how much they feel his load wud be since they have pooran option and now he ll captain n be the main batsman as well.

Shikhar Dhawan is still a world class ODI batsman. Make the best use of him until he is finished. Then move on to KL Rahul with Agarwal as back up opener. 
 

I would like to see Shaw in our ODI team soon as well. This guy can easily take advantage of the first 10 overs just like Sehwag!

So if he is good for next 2-3 yrs and then we move on to next which will give the next batsman max 1-2 ye before wc and in between what if he goes through bad patch...ull bring next one who will get no time.

Replacing him means have time so if ur plan b fails u have enough time for plan c.

 

Also how sure are u that these 2 will be in good form. Kl was given regular run in test during his bad patch....u play someone regualalry when he is in good form.

 

 

Dhawan doesnt deserve it but a plan has to be made for this... We shud have enough time before next wc that if needed we can try 2-3 players rather one.

1 taraf ur saying keep rahul n mayank in line and then u want shaw to get a chance....if those 2 are line then when will shaw number come if u want play dhawan for next few years.
