I m not a fan of jadhav.  I think he is in the squad becz of this series deciding inning which he played in Australia early this year.     http://youtu.be/OfdCigQdkjs

Then they shud ask themselves if they didnt trust him in 2019 wc then why now when they knw he wont play next WC

Mayank dropped and Rahul  persisted with .... shows all that is not well with the TM.

mayank came in as dhawan replacement so he was going to be dropped

My question is this..... Mayank posses a list A record which is far superior to  that of any other domestic batsman... why he is not given his deserving chances??

Coz 3 guys are ahead,he can only get in when their is a vacancy. 

But yea its time we take a call on dhawan

In ODIs, Dhawan wont be dropped that easily given his reputation as big match player in big tournaments.

In T20, Dhawan must be dropped.

Kedar is the most bewildering selection.. Don't know what the selectors and TM are thinking persisting with him.

They didn't trust him in 2019 WC... He won't play the next WC.. What's the point of continuing with him? MSK Prasad said last time that Jadhav has not done much wrong to be dropped, but that's not even the point.. There's no future for Jadhav in the ODI set up

 

I'd even pick Vijay Shankar ahead of Jadhav in this set up..  Get 10 overs from him and Dube and play 4 proper bowlers.

In T20, Dhawan must be dropped.

The next big tournament in ODIs is 2023 WC, by then Dhawan will be nearing 38. He's no Tendulkar to keep playing at 38. 

 

This selection committee under MSK Prasad has been a disaster. Has killed almost an entire generation of young players by backing Rayudu, DK, Shankar, Kaul, Unadkat even Ashsih Nehra at various stages

These chewtiya will again waste 2 more year on jadhav like they did on Rayadu and eventually when big tournament come either jadhav would be retire or LL get injured.

Till sometime back we didn't have opitons for that middle order spot so it was understandable to persist with kedar. Now SKY has scored so many runs at such a high strike rate and he still doesn't get selected?

Well, the TM did not trust Kuldeep in 2019 wc either and he was dropped too.  Yet again, Kuldeep has returned to the side and his terrible form continues.

 

I agree with what you said in the 2nd part.  coz jadhav is not going to be a part of WC 2023. So, it does not make sense to include him.
