Why the fck u want someone batting at 5 to play riskfree :hysterical:

Chu***

my biggest problem is he wants this to happen in t20

A player coming at 5 shud play riskfree cricket in t20 is hilarious AF

You can't be consistent if you play risky game.

He's playing international cricket for India, is he is not capable of doing that, then make way for someone who can. He's played nearly 40 limited over internationals, if Pant has not figured his game out yet, then he is simply not good enough.

Issue is Pant's risky game is not delivering any results runs and eats up balls + he is neither consistent. Pant has regressed under the spotlight/pressure, his keeping has been sloppy and his shot selection is terrible.

no one can

u cant be consistent n play high risk game

Sanath, sehwag, gilly who was consistent ?

Russell, pollard, Pandya who is consistent ?

Pant now has become conscious with all this and he isnt playing his natural game....FFs he is just 21 stop expecting instant result. PAnt hasnt regressed he has just become conscious and is not backing his natural instincts

His average has slumped to the 20s in either format, so lets not compare him to the greats.

Pant is wilting under pressure, it is very obvious. I agree he is very young, In that case shouldn't he hone his skills in the first class circuit and improve him game away from the spotlight. Use Rahul as a make shift keeper till then or try out other youngsters Ishan Kishan, Bharath, Samson, whoever.

What is the point of being stubborn on Pant, it's not as if its the end of the road for him. Another 15 years of cricket at the very least, so a break from national duties will only do him good.

The impact on his career will be far worse after a disappointing WC campaign.

Those averages where in an age when 220-250 where considered winning totals. Lets also not forget Pant has played a 20+ T20s, so is a lot more senior than a 15 match novice. He is clearly struggling for all to see, what is the point of more of the same? Let him play domestics, IPL and fix his issues, whether that's confidence, shot selection, technique whatever.

Pant's current form is affecting both the team and himself, Why prolong this torture?!

there is no issue with him

As if kishen , samson are even consistent on domestic that u expect them to be better then pant . Their keeping is also poorer then pant

There is no point in arguing, if you are blinded in favour of Pant then no reason is going to change that.

But it is obvious Pant is struggling, if this continues they'll simply throw him under the bus. This will happen in the no too distant future.

Struggling to fit 3 openers already!

2 of could be soon be on decline and struggle to compete with openers from Aus and Eng. KL has been ok so far in ODIs

If the team (read Kohli) finds him not suitable for the middle order, the mostly likely outcome will be that he will be replaced. The top four will be Dhawan, Sharma and Kohli, folowed by Iyer or Rahul.

The best solution is to find a second keeper who will rotate duties with Pant (i.e alternatively play matches) before taking a final call before the World cup.
