I haven’t seen him live but there is a spot in the side for someone who can bowl spin as well as bat, to complement Hardik, who bowls quick and bats as well

 

To develop youngsters, you need patience and a mentor’s attitude. If the TM is only focused on instant results and winning every game, which many fans want too, it does not create a climate where players are given time and opportunity to groom. TM and fans have to take a step back as well to see the big picture.

Gill isn't more talented than Shaw. Shaw is the one of the most natural talent.

garg has not done well in U19 tourneys but I rate him a bit higher than Jaiswal..I've seen some bits and pieces of his innings in FC matches including his 200.

Too inconsistent I feel.. as others have said, there are better players in the pecking order. He needs to score heavily in the next 2 seasons to be in contention.

Mental aspect is the most important component.  Exhibit A  Dhoni, Karthik.  If KKD were not a mental midget Dhoni probably would have never played Test match or captained.
