So four consecutive low scores by our batting line up on this tour

Someone surely has to be dropped right, especially from this line up? Whom are you going to sack. 
 

This thread is strictly about batting line up concerns and not about dropping bowlers like Ashwin from away tour etc. 
 

 

I would definitely try to give chance to someone like Kaul and sack Rahane. It has been a while since Rahane had a consistent run. He also seems to be getting our players run out. Have supported him big time in the past but now he is becoming major issue for our line up. He surelu needs a sack and needs to go back to Ranji and find consistency again.

For an experienced player, Rahane batted like a novice so my first pick .... In fact, Ind would have been better off going in with 5 bowlers. On batting form, maybe Jadeja >= Rahane

Vihari with a life scored less than Shaw lol How is Shaw Mhe. Shaw faced new ball. Didn't have the luxury to bat against older ball.

Our entire unit has failed.  I don't want to single out pant.  However, if he gets a longer rope based on one decent knock in a dead rubber in England, and one good knock in Australia,. Then it's not fair on Saha or other Wkt keepers waiting in the wing.    Pant has failed 9 out of 10 times in his overall test career so far.

Keep changing the batsmen and bowlers, nothing will improve till the time this toxic leadership group is in charge. They promote nepotism over meritocracy, count years of experience over form and give importance to friendships over professionalism

Sastri should be kicked out with a punch on his back..  Pujara & Rahane ...... both of them should be dropped AEAP.  Some people might think of sustaining Pujara  based on his once in a blue moon performance  in AUS last time.  But,,,, keep in mind ... he would be older by 8 months by the next AUS tour. More over their 3 best batsmen are back in  the business  .... Smith, Warner & Labuchangne  Naturally Aussies are going to compile  far bigger scores on the average.That being the case , India would be faced with  much tougher   back to the wall situations thru out the series . Pujara is a head less chicken in such situations. Rahane has  degraded alarmingly. Both these 1 dimensional  batsmen should go at the earliest.
