New guy Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 He was involved in a lot of charity work, going into remote areas to help people during this crisis. Pretty commendable IMO.

Whatever Afridi’s agenda or his personal character might be, he deserves credit for reaching out into these areas for charity. How many of our cricketers past and present did something like that for their country? At best a tweet or instagram Post of some noble thought put together by their PR team or brand manager. I am going to give him credit here. Edited June 14, 2020 by maniac

I am going to give him credit here. Imran khan did same as well. But it was all a plank for political mileage. He built a cancer hospital and did similar charity work.

If people elected him thinking of him as some kind of a genius it is their fault or if their army selected him that would show their own sinister ideas. That’s their headache. However you can’t criticize him for doing charity work or building a hospital no matter what his intention was.
