Qasim Omar alleged match fixing by Taliban Khan. His career ended abruptly  as he was never picked again. Asif Iqbal could possibly be the Godfather of them all. There are claims about his match fixing during his playing days. But his bigger contribution was probably post retirement. He worked with Sheikh Abdul Rahman Bukhatir to bring cricket to Sharjah, where film stars like Feroze Khan, Anil Kapoor, and a whole bunch of others happily sat with Dawood at the stadium. A don like Dawood wouldn't have sat there to watch cricket but to generate tailored outcomes and on field decisions to another fat revenue stream for him and his ilk.
