zen Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 (edited) Starc can pick 2 wkts in 2 balls to bundle team B in 1 over Edited August 9, 2020 by zen
Popular Post SK_IH Posted August 10, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 10, 2020 Team B can win only because of the presence of the perennial loser in Team A. Trichromatic, Laaloo, adi B and 10 others 13
Norman Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 (edited) What kind of a match ? And how will that be played? So if Starc is bowling to Rohit with Holder at the non-striker end presumably, only other fielder is stokes ? Because you'll need rat to keep wickets. Anyways, in any scenario team A will most likely win because stokes > Holder and Starc >> Boult. Kohli's panotability and chokabilty will give team B an outside chance though. What I find funny is that they actually think there's a competition between kohli and Sharma as a batsman. I don't believe in this choker s*** and all but if you believe kohli is a choker than what about sharma? Kohli has actually delivered great performances in ct final,T20 WC knockouts ,Sharma almost always failed in crunch situations. Actually if we leave all this behind, kohli is actually in a different league when compared to Sharma. Test matches-kohli>>>>>>>>>>>>>Sharma T20s- Kohli>>>Sharma ODIs Kohli>Sharma. But yeah Sharma is a better captain in limited overs no doubt about that. Sharma's batting capability is so much limited to flat batting conditions that I won't even keep him above babar let alone kohli. zen 1

Since you are posting his stats, let me go bit deep into it. Stats in year which mattered most for him in odis 7 runs at average of 2.33 in worldcup year & nz odi tour. In tests, he failed to score single run in whole test series this year which was big series for him as both captain & batsman. Edited August 10, 2020 by Nikola raki05 and SK_IH 2

Why do you think that the test series in 2019 was more important than the one in 2014?You are just cherrypicking stats here. How was NZ odi tour important in 2019… Secondly I don't believe in this” only world cup matters ”sh** All legends of odi cricket have made their name by playing countless bilaterals and just because a guy failed in world cup knockouts doesn't invalidate his hard earned stats.

Actually performing in knockouts is just one of the criterias out of many. I am a fanboy of almost every indian cricketer who is worth his salt . You need to watch more cricket, players like Waqar,,kallis are legends of cricket even though they fu**** up big time in world cups.
Stan AF Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 Performing in knockouts is the most important criteria unfortunately. I have to disagree with you on that. That's why even great cricketers from every team gets flak and rightly so if they don't perform in knockouts.
Rasgulla Posted August 10, 2020 Author Posted August 10, 2020 I feel like people are being too harsh on him. The partnership he built with Gambhir was really imp in 2011 final - 2011 He was highest run scorer in 2013 CT final - 2013 He was unbelievable in 2014 t20 WC. Performed in SF and Finals - 2014 He got into SF in 2016 T20 WC and performed well even there - 2016 Yes he was gone missing in 2015 SF , 2017 final and 2019 SF but he was good other years Adamant 1

You can go on twitter & facebook and do bhangra for his paytm & pan bahar series stats. In odis & tests kohli is nothing special when compared with other greats yet. His best chance is 2023 worldcup. In t20s i agree he has performed really well. Edited August 10, 2020 by Nikola

Nothing special in Odis and Tests ? lol Guy averages 59 in ODI in 248 matches. He is prob the best ODI player in the history of cricket. Test : - Dominated England in England last series, Highest run scorer - Won India's only Test series in AUS as a captain and did well very even in that series - Highest run scorer in RSA series last time we toured there Only place he didn't do well was NZ in last series. Man has an average of 54 and 50+ in all other formats. This is bit too much now.
