Who are the Top left handed batsmen in Indian domestic circuit currently? National side is in dire need of them.

In limited overs cricket we had Yuvi,  Raina & they were game changers for us. 

In Test cricket we had Gambhir Ganguly & for a brief period Yuvi & Raina were tried as well.  But currently we are witnessing serious lack of options there.  Other Top teams like Eng Aus NZ are producing them one after another.  

Only few names come to mind to those who can be tried or groomed.  Paddikal Kishan Jaiswal Rana..  Pant is on the bench for useless Saha.   Faiz Fazal is too old.  Are there other options?

No standout youngsters but we still have Abhinav Mukund (30), Harpreet Singh (2010 U-19 team) Ashok Menaria ( 2010 u-19 captain, more of an all rounder). Only Mukund could still be considered. Other two are not upto international standards.

Yes Mukund actually has decent technique & bowls some gentle military medium pace as well.  Are his recent Ranji returns any good?  There was this Manjot Kalra as well in 2018 U19 WC scored a ton in the final. 

In my view Kishan & Pant are closest to the best we have & both should be given regular chances.

Mukund fell away after being discarded from the Indian team (based on a England tour where everyone bar Dravid failed). He's had two very good Ranji seasons scoring 600+. But is not being considered for A tours.

 

I forgot to add another guy, Rinku Singh of Uttar Pradesh. 23 years old, hit close to 1000 runs in the 2018-19 season but fell away last season after being suspended by BCCI for playing in a T20 league in Abu Dhabi. Still has age on his side to turn around his career. A proper middle order batsman who batted at 5-6 for UP.

Abhinav Mukund, not sure what happened, was picked as back-up for Sehwag and Gambhir, got a few games and after Sehwag and Gambhir retired was never tried again even after playing several A tours. Thought he was decent.

 

But that's Indian cricket, busy salivating over the next 19 year old superstar rather then develop guys who have grinded it out in domestics and A tours.

Rinku Singh is fairly young and is good middle order batsmen

He can shift gears too, displayed it in IPL for a brief period , didn't get enough opportunities for KKR though

Either selectors are non serious about Team building or are proper doofus of A grade level that they don't pick at least 3-4 left handed batsmen on each A tours.  No wonder our batting stocks are dying. 

Paddikal,  Rinku,  Nitish Rana need to be developed on A tours.   Ishan Kishan I think is ready for International cricket.

We have got it covered in white ball formats if only TM stops *ing up. Kishan as opener, Pant at #5 Tewatia/Krunal/Jaddu/Sundar at #7...we must follow the MI template. 

 

Even keeping the 2 oldies we can have a dynamic batting unit.

Tougher in tests but we must play Pant, Jaddu every match. Hoping that Padikkal, Jaiswal, Kishan improve their FC batting in next 2 years.

We should not introduce a left hander for the sake of it. He should be a top batsman to start with.

Absolutely..  That's why Kishan needs to be drafted into the team in shorter formats first.  We need to groom him like Aussies did to Travis Head. 

Pant & Jaddu need to be permanent members both home & away.

we have Jadeja &   Pant who averages 50+ in first class( not including test stats) . A  TM with minimum sense would have used  Jadeja  as a no:5 batsman because of him being already a quality  spin bowler( not a fast bowler) long way back. This way they could have played an extra player as per the conditions. Because it is tests, that strategy would have been almost 100% success for sure. But for this drunkard &  brainless  captain. Then Pant ....his temperament is so suited for tests. Never dispense with him  in tests.

National side is in dire need of batsmen - doesn't matter left handed or right handed. We have never had such a drought of quality batsmen.
