Yep 2nd 4th and 5th day has scattered thunderstorms. 

 

But unlike you guys I am not worried about India's chances. Even with a depleted team we can still beat them. India is motivated and up the intensity when they play Australia.

 

Just hope they do the same vs n.z away from home too. Ha enough of this nice boy rubbish with n.z and England away from home. We need to take them seriously.

Weather prediction getting worse for good. Two days back it showed 40 perc chance of rain on Last two days. Now its showing 70 perc

Rain predicted 1pm onwards today. So we should have first session done normally. Thinking in such circumstances, shouldn't they start play earlier? Cricket needs to be flexible

We just need to play out whole day tomorrow 95 overs. 4th day high chance not more than 45 overs will be bowled. 5th day max 55 overs. So total 195 overs still to play. If India in first innings plays at least 90-95 more then next two days Aus has to set a score within 47 overs and declare for India to achieve in 50 overs which is risky for them. Simple calculation.

Weather forecast for next 2 days looking better now. Most of the rain will be early morning. Can see us having 120-150 overs of play those 2 days. Forecast keeps changing, hope for some luck to make up for 2019 SCG bad luck .

this is gonna be such an anti-climax..  last time we had the Sydney test in bag and it got rained out.. this time we are on the mat and the weather is becoming better???

If anything, rain forecast is for intermittent showers and with the quick drying Gabba surface, rain will likely not halt a lot of the day's play. Besides, there's a lot of cloudy spells for day#5 and it could be a nightmare for the batsmen.

 

Thankful for the Shardul/Sundar fight! We need to drag this further on...

Lol they ain't setting us 220-250 after how we batted at Sydney. They'll most likely look for 350+ atleast so 300 runs more in maybe 65 or so overs (best case scenario) and give themselves around 110 overs to bowl us out. And that is if they manage to bat at around 4.5 RPO and that's a pretty big 'if'.
