Maybe but they wont provide the energy and positive culture. Very easy to lead a team when you are the don and best player, others just fall in to line behind the biggest baddest gun slinger, thats how men are. Have a skipper who meek and payers think should not even be in team, the dressing room talks and turns and follows less! Indians not suited to calm demeanor captains. 8-0 white washes under calm dhoni showed this. We always at our best when have a skipper with spunk who confronts oppo. Indians naturally mellow. We need aggression to get us going. Just like when under dada Rahane took over culturally team with attitude and well hones methods. He lucky he took over a well oiled machine. That isn’t a chase. Now if the guy ran for dear life and hid in his room, with Kohli in hot pursuit saying baahar aajaa bc.. that would be a chase. Link to post
