SS at 2.2 cr is a good buy IMO. Clutch guy and last season problem against MI was our top order repeatedly getting blown away by Boult, someone like Smith can offer stability and handy in 150-170 kind of pitches, damn good fielder in our side which has a weakness in that area. And after the previous poor season I am sure he will make amends, proud cricketer, when in decent form he can be our Kane Williamson. Also very good against Indian bowlers.....

 

Had he been bought for 4-5 crores it would have been poor but at 2.2 cr much better to rationalize.
