rollingstoned
This is a bold selection by banking on the fact that it either will give enough for spin or will be bowling friendly enough to not need an extra seamer. Otherwise Bumrah and ishant will be overbowled. Link to comment

Forward Defence
One thing is clear. One of the teams has not read the pitch right. Eng clearly think it will assist the pacemen more. Even with Stokes they have chosen 3 pacers. For a sustained spell of spin bowling Root has to bowl from one end. Ind have essentially strengthened their batting and think 2 pacers are enough. So a 15-20 over period with sustained seam from both ends is out of the question. Link to comment
Real McCoy
Alright enough wrist slitting. Kohli loses toss Eng bat. Lets see if we beat Eng batting second. It would be a tight slap to Vaughn and the other whining poms. Go India Pratik77 and Stan AF 2 Link to comment

Nikola
Wanted to see siraj but i think this will be good batting surface. If england bat long both pacers will be over bowled for sure. Link to comment

Root is more than capable of bowling 10-15 overs from one end. India have put all eggs in spin basket. With pink ball, all traditional equations are out of the park. Link to comment

More than pitch, England believe it's the pink ball that's gonna do the damage. In the pre match presser that have been at it. So, England have pitch out of equation Edited February 24, 2021 by SK_IH Forward Defence 1 Link to comment

Not necessarily, it's possible it spins big & moves big under the lights. Having said that if it does move appreciably under the lights I'll say Eng are hot favorites especially as we're batting last here! Link to comment
Stan AF
Thanks gollum, sandeep99, bigg brother and shoonyasifar. It looks quite big. Link to comment
Ravi_Shastri
England would look to score some runs here. Indian bowlers are going to look for early wickets too. All in all.. It's going to be a contest between bat and ball. Edited February 24, 2021 by Ravi_Shastri Sandeep99, Stan AF and SK_IH 3 Link to comment
ShoonyaSifar
One design flaw already clear..half the people in the stands will not have a shade over them. Impossible to sit there for even a couple of hours incept for Dec and Jan. Link to comment

R!TTER
Let me repeat that - we're *ed, that's already more swing I've seen from Ishant in 4 innings Link to comment
sage
This is a good team by England, possibly their best batting line up with Bairstow replacing Lawrence. Link to comment
