Will be play that many?

8 years - 51 tests till now.

We're assuming he plays about 100 tests - which he definitely can if he gives up LO cricket & Ashwin retires around that time.

Jadeja is probably the only bowler who can play all three formats at the moment. He is a spinner and an easily repeatable action. I won't be surprised if he does play 100 tests if he can create havoc with both bat and ball. In that scenario, he would take 450 wickets and 4000 runs

Difficult for him to reach 100 tests. Will have to play for 5-6 years. Realistically another 30-35 tests & 120-130 wickets to reach 350 test wickets and another 75-80 ODIs and 115-120 wickets going upto 300 ODI wickets should be his target.

Even the above could be a stretch. He is already a much improved batsman and in the last phase of his career, could start to play as a batting allrounder.

If he starts playing all formats, more chances of injury and fatigue. Don't see him playing 100 tests, 85-90 will be my guess. 350-375 wickets, 3500-4000 runs.

he can/ought to play 80-85 tests, but I think 100 is beyond him. but ashwin should be able to get to 100 tests and 520-530 wickets.

He will play 9 tests in this year alone. He will complete 62 matches by the end of SA tour.

And will easily last until next round of england/Aus tours in 2025 which means another ~16-18 tests.

In between, there will be 4 matches with WI, at home and away, maybe 4 matches with BD, 4 with nz, 6 with SA, 6 with Lanka, probably another couple of WTC finals.

unless he sufffers major loss of form and decline and is replaced by Sundar/Axar, he should be able to play 100 tests.

I can see him taking another 200 wickets and 2000+ runs
