I blame Ishant Sharma. Gavaskars obsession with 100s is well known but given the match situation I wouldnt have minded a bit of selfishness from Washi. Ishant shuffling across to Stokes first ball is mind boggling. Sundar couldnt even look at him after he did that.

Ishant's dismissal was dodgy, almost deliberate as if TM had passed some instruction to him. What was he trying to do there, copy Steve Smith? Would he have done that with Kohli or Ashwin at the other end? One rule for captain/senior and another for a rookie? Disgusting attitude to have, he is the last player I would have suspected of doing that. Lucky to be playing this test when he isn't among top 5 pace options in India at home.
