What was CSK's Logic Behind Playing One Specialist Bowler?

Precisely, what’s the point in stacking the team with batsmen? Bravo didn’t bat even after they were 7 down & didn’t bowl till the 10th over, by that time the game was lost. So what is role in the team?

They need someone who can bowl real quick at the top, if it means dropping bravo, so be it.

Its very simple dear jalebi.

Allow me to explain.

This is surely Dhoni's last season in the IPL. (I'm already all tears :heartbreak:.)

If he loses the match, he gets questioned for longer in the post match ceremonies. If you notice the losing question gets asked more questions and spends more time in the presentation ceremony answering pointless question. Winning captain is asked nothing in comparison. This is just another of Dhoni's brilliant schemes to spend more time in front of the camera interacting with his fans.

He's won the IPL 4 times. Do you think he cares about winning some pointless season opener anymore?

Caution to all ICFers who ever plan on meeting up with @Mariyam  in the future

Will have to sacrifice either Moeen or Bravo. Maybe both.

On topic i believe they prepared for a SLogathon seeing wankhede. Rutu getting out early damaged their plans. And then the raina run out.

But you still need quality bowlers to defend 200+ scores on pattas. DC finished the chase with 8 balls to spare after slowing down towards the end.
