Mental health is a serious issues for doctors. They just like evryone else suffer a lot.

This is exactly why, before we participate in any non-essential public activity, we think for a moment "who, besides me, is being impacted by my actions?"  Healthcare staff bear the brunt of our callousness.

Pisses me off to no end. Public gives two hoots about general safety and expects docs to work 24/7/365 to cover for their negligence. The worst scum then physically attack them.

 

These people are just angels to work endlessly in excruciating circumstances. I don't think most of us would do so, at least for weeks and months.

I hope we listen to warnings by Dr Devi Shetty. If this doesn’t flatten out in a month, we are looking at terrible times. Doctors and nurses put under intense stress.
