Pujara, the hero of a hundred battles!

In SENA India is still overly dependent on an 50% Pujara, the pillar of Indian batting for over a decade. The guys currently supposed to be in good form Rohit and KL scored 11 and 17 respectively

When they scored 200, Pujara ensured a collapse.

 

So, team shouldn't be dependent on no 3, 4 and 5. They are just for freeloading.

Rahan even if gets out on 0 , fir kuch extra value to hai captaincy n slip fielding.................pujara to 0 value player hai

Na bhag sakta hai na field men kuch kar sakta hai, captaincy bhi koi value nhin....................momentum ki dhajiya alag udata hai

Pujara will go down in history like Mohinder Amarnath. Will be remembered for great performances in 1-2 series but will never make the top 5 Indian batsmen list.

Ppl who know cricket know the difference b/w averages of a top order (#1-3) batsmen overseas and someone who bats at #5 … Also Pujara has given legendary performances in Aus series … Rahane is not good enough to bat in the top 3 (shied away from the challenge despite being an opener) 

 

PS this thread itself is for adding to his by helping Ind win a test and being the lone warrior with a 90 odd, despite not being at his best!

anybody who think we shud rely on this guy overseas whose avg against pace is worst in world  not even talk about no3 excuse

Again, Pujara actually helped Ind win a series in Aus after Aug 2019, hitting 3 50s in 2 tests. We know he hit 500+ runs in a series before in Aus 2018-19 v a very good pace attack. Even Indian bowlers like Shami has said that Pujara is the toughest to get them out 

 

Also we know how many balls Pujara bats  in tough conditions … So relying on meaningless tweets gets one no where

In SENA, for a top order Indian batsman, playing with India losing early wkts, that is pretty good. More over Pujara redeemed himself big time with the series in Aus, helping India win for the first time there in its history. Followed it up with a fighting performance in the last series in Aus.

 

Last time in Eng, he hit an unbeaten 100. This time, he helped Ind win a test and scored a 91, a lone warrior knock. 
 

So even a Pujara at 50% has been impactful. See the numbers for 2021 in SENA v Aus and Eng. (I am on vacation in the Rocky Mountains to post numbers over my cell. It must be ob this thread too)
