Atleast he was performing at top when he was playing international cricket and his decline came in only when he stopped playing high level cricket but Rohit hasnt been performing for last 5 yrs.

I hve no issues with non performing captains if ur they are managing team well just pointing out dhoni n morgan arent alone and if a captain is managing team well u can take his non performance along with it as IPL is 1.5 month tournament

Lone Wolf Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 His Int'l T20 returns are also similar. He has been a failure in last 2 T20 WC's. In bilateral he scores in 1 game in a 3 match series & scores em big. Then rinse repeat. You can't count on him in the format.

I thought Rohit Sharma was the most consistent Striker in the history of world cricket. Here he is not even making into his franchise eleven let alone international eleven. The Realist Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 Sharma is overhyped as a captain. Just that in comparison to Kohli "the other" always looks better. As the stats show his performances are average but as the "anti-Kohli" he is lauded despite equally flopping, like his oversized belly, at every major international tournament.
