Pollard might get picked by new franchisees in drafts :dontknow:

6 players to pick among 2 franchise and this wud be the list

  • KL rahul
  • Warner
  • Iyer
  • Ashwin
  • Kishen/sky/hardik (2 among them)
  • bairstrow
  • stokes
  • Moeen ali
  • Kuldeep
  • Rahul chahar
  • Krunal
  • chahar/ruturaj/thakur (any one)
  • Siraj/Chahal/devdutt (any 2)
  • Shami
  • Axar
  • Manish pandey
  • boult
  • Rabada
  • livingstone

Among all these options u really think he has a shot above them, yea even pandey n axar................remeber in IPL indian international players are like gold . To make any side u need good indian core which is what im sure teams will target . think like an owner n make a list

yes he is a captaincy option but so is KL, Iyer, Pandey and kishen being an indian keeper will be another gold or Hardik incase he gets released . Foreign captaincy option is considered risky coz of their own form issue which has happened with many many sides

where is he not performing ?

Is he performing at the same level that Kohli and Rohit did at their peak.

You are being intellectually dishonest,  even in Odis he hasn't played a memorable top class knock.

Aajkal Ipl mai performance karke hi log superstar ban jaate hain.

As for owning a spot in three formats.his spot in tests was confirmed only after this England tour.

When a player performs well it is reflected in the rankings, lets see how much time he takes to get amongst top 5 or 6 odi batsman.

You are comparing him with batsman who were consistently owning the top spots.

It's quite simple, dunno why you aren't admitting it, this guy has terribly underachieved.

He was compared with Babar who is owning top spots in all formats.

didnt knew his career is over that u passed a judgement or if he has played a decade .

In test babar is better but stupid comparison coz babar doenst open

in odi- 3 saal men he ll be ahead of babar.............not even a great benchmark

in T20 already ahead , babar is overrated in t20

If Rohit Besharma wasn’t a selfish b@&$!h and accepted to be the third/fourth retention in line with his form, MI could have easily retained Hardik who is a much better commodity and brought back SKY in the auctions

wo to nhin hone wala tha, understandable as retition wud have been super tough but look at some or many of the comments on this thread- that hardik krunal hasnt done anything much in IPL

Hardik have had two great season and even in his avg ones his s/r was very high one of his major roles, Krunal we have discussed how everytime he has gone under radar. Now look what **** MI is in post loosing both as they arent able to strike any balance and LSG and GT are doing well with contributions from Pandya bros.

To be generous to MI, to retain SDP, it would have had to be in top 1-2 spots (for which MI had slotted Rohit & Bumrah), and if the new franchises were offering him captaincy, he would have said "no" to MI anyways ... As they say - "whatever happens, happens for the best!"

Why should he? If he wasn’t that important to mI, they had whole option to not even offer it to Rohit.

Trying too hard to make to prove a point when you don't have any. Everyone wished to get this Krunal out for a reason. He sucked for last two years, whatever the numbers say. He would get hit even after coming at 36/2 something. MI is anyday a better squad than GT, now that they didn't perform, you can say anything. As for Gujarat, a team being short on either a bowler or a batsman cannot be balanced.

There was never any chance of HaPa being retained, so better not talk about it.

No team is perfect ... Every team has a Pandey, a Kishan/Rohit, a weak bowler or two, ...

it will be a blunder if he starts bowling again and regains batting form.

If he is at the same level he is now he will be a liability.

Thats exactly the conundrum Indian team is in right now which is damaging the balance.
