i find it interesting that no other team is trying to emulate England's template. they are doing what SL did in 1996. more importantly, why is no IPL side trying to emulate Eng?

CSK did to an extent

batting deep multiple all rounders

go hard in the middle order from ball 1 (uthappam, Moeen, Rayudu)

So IPL isn't cancer for Boult / Woakes / Miller / Rashid / Hazelwood/ Warner / Moeen Ali  etc  but for Indian Team only then who is to blame?

By now if you are not copying literally everything England do you must be daft. Split the captaincy for a start.

Wait What ?   I am talking about IPL's impact not blue printing England  or the Hundred

Its funny coz England are fortifying their limited overs cricket at the cost of test cricket & India are doing the opposite. What a delicious irony

sorry i missed out a sentence. the IPL has got Indian players and staff rigidly sticking to a formula all IPL sides follow more or less. meanwhile Eng is telling you how to do it. in that sense the IPL has been problematic.

the distinction between IPL and International T20 should come down to the TM and the think tank

BBL/PSL/Hundred - all these tactics that are used in a domestic league not necessaily work in international stages and ICC events -  horses for courses -   IPL here isn't the issue or PSL isnt the issue here -  all these leagues follow their own trend but how a national team plays should not be a representation of how you play domestic T20 cricket.

In IPL we have a top orange cap, purple cap and death bowler who are all Indian.  These three guys cant even get a single match for India in T20?

And its IPL that is the problem?
