A long long way to go and plenty more horrors to emerge, but I was impressed with the words of our new chairman Patel earlier. Apologies and promises to thoroughly investigate and build a better club for all. Something which should have happened last year as soon as the first allegations came out. Also invited Rafiq and anyone to come forward and openly tell their stories, which I think was really important

Rafiq gave his testimony today. The following names mentioned.

 

Gary Ballance

Michael Vaughan

Alex Hales

Tim Bresnan

David Lloyd (!!)

 

He mentioned disappointment with Joe Root for not owning up to being present when racial slurs were said, but said he was a good man. Matthew Hoggard got an appreciative mention too as someone that picked up the phone and apologized to him for things he said.

 

Yesterday, Adil Rashid come forward and corroborated Rafiq's allegations as to the 'there's too many of you lot' comment said by Vaughan.

 

Maurice Chambers, county player of afro-carribean origin, spoke of racism too.

Some of the racist incidents

 

1) peeing on asian players intentionally from balconies 

 

2) using a muslim prayer mat to clean up after having sex with a prostitute on her period

 

3) Holding a 15 year old Rafiq down and forcing wine down his throat 

 

4) Vaughan telling asian players - there is a lot of you people, we need to do something about it. Then those players never selected and playing together again in same team

 

5) Calling all non white players Kevin and then naming a black dog of one of the players Kevin to represent them 

 

6) Ballance constantly following Rafiq every where, going to each girl he is talking to and saying  - don't talk to him, he is a P word.  He is not even a sheikh just a P word.  Every single time 

 

7) Other player getting lots more support from management and coach, while rafiq, after his son died, was yelled at, on the very day he returned, for being off couple of weeks and was dropped but it was told he didn't want to play

 

8) Constant use of racist language and songs with all management etc laughing and encouraging. Things like - you lot sit near the toilet. You elephant cleaners don't belong here, etc. Ignoring all reports of racism

These are just aligations it has yet to be proved. This Rafiq guy changing his statement. There may be racial abuse but not what all said is truth until proven. But still much beeter than trying to convert someone on the field or distributing Quran to yout coach and teaching religion to your coach. These Pakistanis are crying like bitches whereas some of their brethren killing /converting kafirs around the world. Looks like one of our guy already been converted.

Not many Hindus play professional cricket compared to muslims- if they do they generally arent the targeted in the same way. Hindus can genrally get involved in british sporting culture of drinking with team mates etc
