you think we have it bad. imagine supporting the Windies. half your team prioritizes IPL over national cricket, including an over the hill captain. your 'star' player aged 42 and calls him himself universe boss. and he still wont retire unless he gets a final send off in Jamaica!

and windies, inspite of winning against bang-bro-s have to play qualifier in 2022 T20 world cup and our lucky neighbours -bang-bro-s lost all super-6 matches, but still automatically qualify for super -6 of the next T20 world cup

Cricket is long dead in Windies . Just watch some old videos of YouTube and see how West indians use to support their team . They are not doing it from past 20 years

Me thinks even then it's worse for BD. For WI at least they have a competitive pool. BD gives it their all and yet ends up like minnows. As a BD fan i'd me mighty pissed every tournament, as a Caribbean I'd go have a cold one on the beach.

BD is still very early in their cricketing development. Just 20 years back they got test status. Cricket is such a highly complicated sport and it's not easy to produce players that have top level skills untill level of domestic cricket is high. Our domestic standards have improved a lot in 20 years and still we struggle to produce highly skilled players in all three formats.

Gayle needs to go! He has overstayed his welcome by quite a few years! There was big talk of a farewell when he played a few games in the WI a while ago. But Universe boss isn't in any hurry to step down! Their selectors should put a full stop to his career pronto! They finished off Chanderpaul's career at 40 but allow Gayle to carry on forever.

Not true. T20 has saved cricket in the WI. The CPL is a high quality tournament with fantastic atmospheres and a wide pool of talented local players. The stadiums are jam packed in Guyana, T&T, and Jamaica. St. Kitts and St. Lucia both consistently produce good crowds as well. The quality of the pitches seem to be improving as well. However, crowds are generally poor for WI games (except t20) and that is a real concern compounded by the stupid covid rules. Imagine banning a non existent crowd unless they get a vaccine that does NOTHING to prevent the transmission of covid. This has been proven from multiple RCT studies. The windies board is so stupid and delusional that it would honestly be funny if it wasn’t so pathetic.

Yeah that's why no one supports them.

Have you seen the crowds in WI packing a ground for at least one international game in the last 8-9 years? Yeah neither have I.
