If you see something that needs Moderators to get involved use the 'report this post' function.  Moderators are volunteers and are not going to be always reading each and every nonsense post on every thread.

 

And keep in mind, the moderation policy on this forum is very laissez faire , I'm speaking on behalf of others, but essentially, we want to treat posters as mature and responsible for their own action, and don't want to censor their words.  We will do it only when red lines are crossed - its not our job to stop fools from being fools and expressing themselves.   Their words and posts reflect their own personality and characters.  You can always set certain posters on 'ignore' or just skip their posts and threads.

 

But if somebody is posting inflammatory garbage, insulting religion/ethnicity etc then we will be forced to get involved.  Apart from that, its a discussion forum, and ideally everybody should be free to express their opinion the way they want. 

 

I mean, this does leave the door open for some undesirable stuff.  But overall it works well as most posters who become regular contributors understand the free-wheeling open discussion and respect the redlines.  

 

Haven't seen you post that much so assuming you are a newbie -welcome to the forum.  Please feel free to post whatever you want, but don't join the minority of idiots, you'll enjoy it a lot more if you follow the loose norms that the majority have no issues with.

He is good. Just not as good as people make him out to be. Not saying he isn't good. He is poor once new ball wears off.

Age fudging is a pretty bad crime that deprives genuine talent of the opportunities that they deserve.  Its a problem everywhere and used to be a bigger issue in India, until recently where the BCCI has finally started cracking down on it.  

 

Having said that, we often see "visiting" greenbro posters create such hype threads for 'new' fast bowlers that make a big song and dance about how 'talented' some new player is, especially at his "young age".  "oh Naseem Shah is deadly awesome, and he's barely 16!! sqeee.   "Behold the greatness of Shaheen Shah and Mohammed Musa!! They are teenagers and can bowl 140.xyz kph!!!".   Especially when a lot of these "young talents" haven't actually done much of note in real cricket.  

 

To be fair, there's a section of posters who seem to primarily get their jollies off on "bashing/mocking/trolling" anything related to Pakistan, and go overboard doing so.  So that's not ideal.  But its not happening in a vacuum.  There's context there.

The list is endless thou we can start of with afridi, shaheen, ifitiqar, amir, naseem, Haider Ali, saqlain musthaq who at 30 looked around mid 40s, Shoaib Malik, Babar Azam is about the same age as rahul but on paper 27, Ahmed shazhad, Hassan raza the guy was apparently 14 on his test debut lol, aaqib Javed was finished by 1998 his documented age then was 27 In reality over 30, Abdul razzaq, inzi, akmal brothers, ajmal many such more.

Maybe you should apply the same filters for Pakistanis too. Some people start showing signs of ageing early. In my own family, we start losing hairline by 28. I know people at 30 who look like college goers and vice-versa. Pakistan's age fraud issue is real but talking about it umpteenth time wouldn't help.

Rohit is from Mumbai and has been part of Mumbai circuit since he was 14, impossible to fudge his age, Ashwin went to a highly respected  engineering college and you can't fake your age in educational institutions, siraj is 27 and his age is legit. Except Shami, each of them have been tracked since their age group days (u-14).
