Sachin didn't even bother to Tour WI after 2002, that was the last time he went to WI when it was still a semi decent side and India actually lost that series after going 1-0 up.

Didn't bother going to WI in 2006 and 2011, could have easily got some easy runs there. Dravid and Laxman played both series.

Also didn't visit Zimbabwe after  2001, skipped the Test series in Zimbabwe 2005 .

He had nothing to prove against these small sides so passed the opportunity for management to try some youngsters. Could have got another 7-8 easy tons had he not skipped these Test series and few other Odi series.

Sachin missed 2005 zim series & 2006 wi series due to injury.

day 2 rained out. we will see what bwahane does to the streak.

Kept it alive, what else? The big three are starting to choke at the thought of 50 itself these days. 100 is like a double century for them.

Please check out Dravid's innings on the WI  tour and also the pitches there.

Meanwhile do check how Sachin did there when Ambrose and Walsh were playing.

No need to put down other legends to elevate Sachin's status.

we always had overrated batting. always. vastly overrated. Our bowling post 2000 has always been pretty decent up until kohli took over and post kohli, our bowling went to ATG level status.

our so called fab 4 had inflated stats mostly on patta wickets. i dont rate flat pitch era. sorry.

remember simon doull running through us which including fab 4? on spicy pitches we have been bamboozled many times. hell vs s.africa our batting let us down in 2006. could have won the series. pathetic batting show. Our bowling did well there too.

only in 2011-2013 our bowling performed badly.

1990s didn't have as many flat pitches (with notable exceptions) as 2000s and 2010s. Moreover, 1990s had some good bowling lineups. Hence, SRT should not be placed with rest of Fab 4 since he technically made his debut in 80s and played throughout the 1990s.

Okay we diss Kohli. But  he is not a minnow basher as you imply.  He most likely won't make a 100 in the first class game as well.  He failed to make a 100 in India as well. Lot of other guys made more runs than him.

Sri Lanka spinners will run amok over Trimurti. Pujara's footwork is missing, Kohli has forgotten how to play spin, and Rahane was generally bad at it. Sri Lankas will have a good time

Since Rahane's 100 at MCG-

Kohli - 19 innings, 536 runs, 74 highest

Rahane- 24 innings, 506 runs, 67 highest

Pujara- 27 innings, 683 runs, 91 highest

They crossed 75 only twice, let alone a hundred.

I wonder when was the last time one of trimurti made a 150.

Kohli 254* against South Africa 2019. He could get only one more 100 after that.

Pujara scored 190+ in Sydney 2019. Pant also scored 150+ in the same match.
