Bishnoi should be brought into T20 side. He doesn't have a proper leg spin delivery. He relies on googly. Markende is a much better option. He even had better returns in the vijay hazare than Bishnoi.

Bishnoi was not even the best spin of his state side. Probably 2nd best. When he was up against Karnataka he was thrashed for 63 runs in 9 overs.

This is totally wrong way of selecting the team . All one dayers till WC 23 should be used to find out who among fringe players should  be in in final 15. 

What you want to find out by playing some one who is playing for india for 7-8 years as of now? What you need to find out by playing Dhawan & Bhuvi ? 

Selectors should be finding out who should be our back up openers ? Obviously people like Shaw & Ruturaj should be in these bi laterals and should be given atleast 8-10 matches . Same goes to pace bowling - Avesh , Mavi , Tyagi  should be included and tested out . 

 

When we are going to see this happen ?

Fan of Bishoni since under-19. But feel for 24 year old Markende His name doesn't even come up.  Bishnoi took few tailenders when Assam was chasing 353 runs. Other than that he was hardly a wicket taker. vs Goa his team mate spinner picked 5 for 12.

Rishi Dhawan did not do anything to get noticed until this season. When Dhoni plays at 40 without doing anything with bat there is a chance he  may get picked.  Also in the IPL if you are not in the right setup you might fail. Same Ruturaj would have flopped under Kohli's RCB.

Had a bad feeling that Thigh slapper will sneak in. Exactly the same happened . I am Ok if all fringe players competing for opener slot are tested & if they fail , you go for Dhawan may be  6-8 month before WC  if all others are inconsistent .

Vijay Hazare ,SMAT were fairly watchable and looked exciting not too long ago,covid times have been quite tough

If they are planning for world cup Dhawan has no business playing now. He is a gun ICC tournament player. But he is already 36. In 2023 he will be 38. Kohli will be 35.  Rohit will be 36.

For me biggest disappointment is Bhuvi,Dhawan again making the team list
