Vk1 Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 we should stop treating SKY as just another finisher.. he has the attitude to be a captain.. 31 years old so can be a vice captain and able ally to Rohit.. treat him like how Aussies saw the potential in George Bailey.. enough of this musical chairs at 4,5,6.. make Rahul and SKY permanent at 4,5.. use Pant floatingly.. all this in ODI cricket.. selectors not able to differentiate formats even after 7 world cup defeats in T20s raki05 and SRT100 1 1

Rahane -> VC Rohit -> VC -> Captain S Iyer -> promoted as a replacement for Rahane Thakur -> Hyped up Shaw -> Easy to see where most of his support is from SKY -> now a captaincy material Vijy, cricketfan28 and Adamant 3

Vk1 Posted January 23, 2022 Author Posted January 23, 2022 As a spectator how do you decide on a captain? we dont know about the pep talk or behavior in dressing room & nets.. all we can see is the body language on field & while batting/bowling.. SKY exhibits far more positivity than Rahul/ Shreyas or even Pant ( understandable for his age ) on field

Give it a rest on "Mumbai Lobby" - everybody has a lobby and marathis like Gavaskar and Tendulkar actually shunned the captaincy unlike Bishen Bedi or Kapil Dev or Dhoni or Kohli who coveted it.
