Rizwan pretty much plays same shot every ball. Walks towards off stump and try to semi pull towards leg side. He has no off side game at all.

Wonder how did he rack so many runs with that technique? How come bowlers didn't work him out?

Quality pace attacks tend to keep him silent.  But his slog sweeps help him score runs freely against spin.  Starc with his fuller length troubled him in Australia I remember.

Does not make any sense to block IPL in Pakistan , if that's the case. Some say its not banned in Pakistan , Geo TV used to show it but there was not much interest shown by the viewers , I think it showed be shown in Pakistan , it not only would provide entertainment for cricket followers but also cricketers of all level learn from watching world's top cricketers playing .

After this season , Dahani will be 2nd best fast bowler after Shaheen in Pakistan. He is a real deal . I will also be watching Naseem's progress , I heard he has improved a lot during his time away from National team and has recovered from injuries too. I think Naseem should be kept for tests and ODIs only, if he had improved.

Any other young prospects coming up that you like?

If thats true just watch old matches of old legends like Sachin, Lara, Richards & Mcgrath.

Saw a bit of the first match on my Sony subscription, 3 overs and I couldn't take anymore. Pathetic pitch, horrendous batting, bowlers bowling leg side low full tosses, commentators mis-pronouncing names. Some antique foreign players who no one have heard of like Gregory, Tim David etc. Difference of quality in PSL and IPL is similar to that of Indian movies vs Pakistani movies.

You must be watching a different league , not PSL, or must be wearing some very biased glasses, take it off, you will like it.  Strange , you enjoyed the same commentatorMike Haysman and Pommie Mbangwa  during Ind-SA series and not at PSL .  Others are David Gower, Danny Morrison , Nick Night, not bad I guess.

Barring Bazid Khan, the commy lineup is good, but it's not PSL commentary vs IPL commentary, the quality of pitches and cricket is pretty bad comparatively. Plus Pakistan as a country is not as diverse culturally like India. In India there is a clear difference between the people and cultures of Bangalore and Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai, the inter City sporting rivalry and emotions can be built around strongly.

Nevertheless, all the best to PSL. I hope PCB does a good job with it.
