it was a true team performance throughout the tourney. Hangu was sharp, kumar picked up regular wkts, bawa was good with bat & ball, ostwal was consistent, sindhu did well with bat and ball, bana was explosive, raghuvansh, rasheed, and dhull did well with bat. harnoor and tambe were IMO the only duo who did little, especially tambe, who tried his best to tuk-tuk and drag it to last over

In the first game against SA, i was most thrilled by Bawa's performance. A proper all rounder in making, fingers crossed for him. This timely performance means he will strike gold in IPL auctions as well.

But Bana, I ll like to see this guy's progress over next two years. Six hitting is precious quality & he has immense potential imo.

he got deployed too low down the order. should have been used as a floater IMO.

There is one Siddharth Yadav, six hitter in this team, didn't get to bat

Nishant Sindhu is second best prospect after Bawa. Top 6 bat who bowls left arm spin and bats at a good strike rate when all else struggled to push the scoring.

yes, agreed. surprised that he is not being mentioned enough. seems like both a reliable top order bat who can be relied to bowl 6-7 overs min (on most days)

He was Haryana u19 captain which won Vinoo Mankad trophy last year.

Hangerakar ceiling is higher. Bawa on par with hangs. Also there is nikhil kohli waiting. He is ready for the next step up.

yes i think the pressure absolutely got released when india  had just lost Bawa and Nishabmnt Sindhu pulled a ball by Bowden effortlessly for a boundary and brought the required runs below 20. That shot and one before that a cover drive for 4 under pressure reeked of class. I m just thinking did the 2020 batch fluked into final as other than jaiswal bishnoi tyagi nobody was remotely impressive. Priyam Garg has been the biggest disappointment

yes, seems like a rare AR who can bat in top 6 and bowl his near-complete quota of overs.

What? Check Priyam Garg's FC record. It's much better than Jaiswal. He isn't an LOI format player atm but a better long format player and should be looked as a future test player.

Nishant Sindhu's batting reminded me of Sanga, busy player, looking to take quick singles, always looking to score, Swift feet movement.
