Re-watching it, I feel like DK trusted VS too much in the last 2 overs. There was even a ball where he was willing to run 2 following a VS shot that left me shaking my head. Luckily the run was not on. Link to comment
speedheat
We would have lost it if the new rule had been in effect at the time. Sundar would have been on strike for last ball. Link to comment
anish2tweet
I think SKY and DK are the only finishers India has in T20 cricket. Hardik to some extent.. Vk1 1 Link to comment
Vk1
DK has become a good finisher coz he learnt it by watching the overseas finishers.. not the MSD template which works once in a bluemoon at international level and that too against minnows/ tier 2 teams.. you need to be a 360 player if you are not built like a bull. Period. Link to comment

Its just that we didnt explore much with 2 guys DK n Uthappa Link to comment

Chakdephatte
While he did nothing great since comeback, there is this one aspect where no one can beat him. In death overs, he has that quality, he can toy with literally any fast bowler. From superfast Jasprit Bumrah to gentle medium Mustafizur. Link to comment

vvvslaxman
He earned his selection. It is up to him to sign off on a positive note and in the process help team India. Pant's potential vs DK's form will always be a debate until he leaves. Depends on who performs. For so many months Kishan was groomed as opener. Now only i realize he was groomed as opener for MI lol Once IPL was over his chances diminished. nitinbwj 1 Link to comment
Number
Since he was in the 2007 WT20 team I just couldn't stop thinking how good that team's batting was after 2 proven openers Rohit Yuvraj Dhoni Uthappa Karthik Irfan Bhajji Edited September 13, 2022 by Number Link to comment
