KL's sample at 5 is still low. India could easily have Babar at 4 and then Pant/KL competing for 5 spot because remember KL's spot was not even cemented till 2019 WC while Babar was ahead of him at that time.

Sample small ? 10 games is fine sample to tell what he can do 

 

the lower u bat the better gear u need, why wud u have someone who bat slower then top 3

In these conditions Naseem is excellent..I want to see how he adjusts in Ausralia..I am sure he will adjust as he has matured..

As far as original Q..I will prefer Babar in test side only..in LOI..we need agressive players..and I would prefer to give Shubhman Gill a chance instead

Shadab is more or less similar to Hooda and Jadeja in terms of utility. As a total package he is good for Pakistan.

 

apart from there fast bowlers no one is ever worth a mention.

 

I am only talking about t20s though. None of the Pakistan bowlers including Shaheen have test match fitness or temperament.

Look at KL played against Starc and co in his 1st knock at 5 ................

hooda is a part timers and shadab is a full 10 over good bowler, jaddu defensive as a bowler in white ball 

Hooda batting is better but if its shadab vs jaddu batting ill shadab

Mine was just a frivolous response to incorporate Shubman (pure mind) and Khushdil (happy heart) in the same line up :-)

You can make a case of Babar replacing Kohli ( considering Kohli's poor form lately )  , otherwise none. Pakistan has one of the better bowing attacks in the world  but certainly weakest batting lineup out of all the major teams . Iftikhar, Asif and Khushdil would not make the  BD or even Zim team.

Indian under 19 teams  in recent past had the best fast bowling attacks.The problem is none of them have graduated to next level. We cannot say the same about batsmen.I have not see uber talent under 19 Indian batsmen other than Shaw and Gill. Both of them have played for India in all formats.

 

Pakistan seems to be doing better job in  transitioning their under 19 fast bowlers than India. Are our players following footsteps of great Unmukth Chand who thought he made it by winning under 19 world cup.
