Will Dravid get sacked after WT20?

If his brief is to shape the team over an extended period of time in his fashion then no, one tournament - even a few more - won't lead to knee jerk decision in sacking him, just like the players the tm chooses to back won't be shelved for a few sporadic failures. I think he should get someone like Steyn to completely look after the fast bowling side of things though as it is one area that needs attention with the Arun shaped hole that is quite visible for a year now.

We are trying flexible batting orders. Opening with SKY, Pant, etc. We have backups for middle order positions for LOIs. We are rotating players in bilaterals. Earlier, Kuldeep, Bishnoi, etc., used to warm bench only, bot they get chances here and there. 

 

You guys wanted Siraj and Gill to get their chances. Now they are getting. You guys wanted hit the deck bowlers, he brought Siraj (ODI), and backed Krishna and Avesh from previous teams, now they didn't perform and you have a problem with it. DK was dropped unfairly, we brought him back too.

 

Just that we more more than what we deserved, now we fail to appreciate it.

Samjhe ki nahin , sabko bas immediate conclusion pe jaana hai. We just lost 2 games....................last yr Wc champions Aus lost 5 series before coming into that Wc and their main guy warner was out of form which again if you dig 2021 IPL threads he was called done but we all know what happened. 

You stick to your players and plans , it shudnt be affected by just 2 games or else ur plan had no sense in 1st place

We shouldn't have let go of B Arun as the bowling coach due to some stupid rule made by the bureaucrats. He was doing a good job.

Experimentation at the cost of wins never works. Dravid needs to know that, coaching and team selections were most glaring issues in this Asia cup.

This post by @Number was in August 2022 and I think he was talking about our 2022 SA tour when we lost the test series and got whitewashed in the ODI series.

That post was from 2022 so I was talking about 2021-22 tour. We lost test series, whitewashed in ODIs, both of them against a very weak team.

Wasnt a weak team at all. Their bowling was as good as what it was in 90s for those conditions. 

 

Batting had weaknesses which we couldn't exploit at the time in tests 3
