I'm sick and tired of seeing the likes of Ashwin, Chahal, Pant, Shami and Rahul in the squads. These are the players that made me lose interest in Indian cricket. There's no young and exciting players to look forward to?

This is a hopeless squad lmao....  Bowling attack is proper lol. 

SF is the  best case scenario with this team.

Another pitiful and underwhelming squad selected for an international tournament. Zero lessons learnt from previous failures.

 

For Australian conditions/pitches the squad lacks big hitters and pace for starters.

Ashwin drafted in as an offie. besides he can bat.  That is the only explanation. But Chahal vs Bishnoi , it is straight forward who is a better defensive bowler.  They probably think big Australian grounds will come to his aid. If he doesn't click his usefulness to the team ends right there.

I'd happily take Shreyas Iyer over this good-for-nothing Rahul in the squad. When are we getting rid of Rahuls, Kohlis and Chahals?

Looks like Avesh Khan's selection was deliberate for Asia cup. They knew he would fail there. So that they could retain the same squad without trying other pacers like Moshin, khalil, Sen.

Ploy to not play Bishnoi in Afg game was clear as daylight.  They saved their Toli... @Lord Mera Chahal bach gya...  Dosti yaari tax with washed up Ashwin too...  Ye Ghante fielding karenge lol

Why are people surprised that there are no surprise selections in the squad? Why will they select somebody new who has no match practice , for a major tournament starting in a month? Just to see how they fare? Experiments are over for the Asia cup itself.

Nothing surprising..Phatichar team was expected and Phatichar team was given.

 

Shami brought in name of pace because they had mostly tested the trundlers in last few months except Avesh and Umran, both of which failed.

Reserves means nothing. He won't play much like how Asia cup reserves didn't play.  They will get a shot only if someone else is injured.

Ashwin is pointless selection so is Chahal..But Ashwin's selection makes no sense..Picked to play for t20s last yr after gap of 4 years in the basis of God knows...don't know why questions aren't being asked about his selection..
