One ball he hit 140k and bowled into the surface batsmen simply couldn't touch. Then he floats up a half volley or length ball at 135 kph. He is just not  pushing himself in this format. If you can't bully subcontinent batsmen at Perth where else you can

SL may not have big named all rounders like Pandya and Stoinis etc.  But they do hv all rounders who somehow get the job done on most occasions. C Karunaratne is one such example. He performs in big matches often.    In Asia Cup final, SL were tottering at 70/5. this dude came in and took them to 170.  Highly underrated player, it seems.

He just has to bowl as fast as he could and hit the hard length. Nothing else. Not many subcontinent batsmen can touch that. Him bowling at 135 kph which is Bhuvi speed and length ball means this is like bhuvi bowling in death

That’s because of tailenders who are capable to slog. Rauf and Shaheen threw the bat around and they got 20+ runs in less than 2 overs. We have malnourished tail so at 120-6 it’s practically game over for us. Other teams have that luxury. You don’t need allrounders but at least tail who can slog. Most tailenders in other teams would be considered bowling allrounder in the Indian team.
