Which side has the most powerful middle order in T20 World Cup?

Australia, SA, ENG seem the strongest to me.

Pretty much the 3 teams you picked.

 

Most out of syllabus middle orders are Pak and SL. They have mercurial hacks who will play a blinder out of nowhere.

 

Solid  but vulnerable would be India and Nzl

 

Afghanistan has the worst obviously minus Nabi and Bangladesh probably the most boring.

SA or Aus - ill say Aus have more depth and SA more quality

OZ has two killer batsmen down the order. Stonis and Wade. Both capable of winning on their own. Infact they were the t wo that helped Australia beat Pakistan in the semi final of world T20 last time.

Think you've described them perfectly. I still like NZ one if Daryl Mitchell comes back. Glenn Philips, Mitchell, Neesham Bracewell/ Santner isn't bad at all.

Miller alone is equivalent to whole India and Pakistan middle orders. South Africa easily.

RSA, Eng, Aus, distant 4th Ind, our #7 is a weak link.

It's basically Sky and Hardik. Can't exactly count DK and Axar in that.

Aus> Eng>= Saf ,rest have all stop start middle order batsmen.

Aus and England batting depth is incredible

On paper, Aus, Eng, & SA all are strong. The MO is supported by some good batsmen in the lower order as well. Which team is ahead depends on which players are in form.

MO: Maxwell, Stoinis, Wade, & David 

LO: Cummins & Starc … Agar (when playing) 

 

ENG

 

MO: Stokes, Brook, Moeen, & Livingston 

LO: Curren & Woakes 

 

SA

 

MO: Markham, Miller, Stubbs, & Parnell 

LO: Maharaj & Rabada

Comparing it with Ind’s: 

 

MO: SKY, SDP, DK, & Axar

LO: Ashwin & Bhuvi 

 

Basically, 2 key guys SKY and SDP, along with DK when in flow … Axar is more like a LO batsman at this point

Most teams have a good top order on paper as most times the specialist batsmen are slotted in it ... Pak too has Rizwan & Babar in its top 3 (on paper, they are #1 an #4 respectively on ICC T20 ranking for e.g.)
