I don't give oversized importance to captaincy. Its the right XI that comes first and that was never the case, the current captain failed there among other areas. Orange cap wala may be worse, but I don't see much upside on Rohit as batsman thus far which has been a big concern. Appoint Kohli or Ashwin as captain, it won't change much. On second thoughts maybe Kohli can bully the umpires more than usual

Not saying KLR 2022 = AMR 2020-21, but attitude alone only goes so far.

Ok that's just taking it to the extreme but I agree that attitude goes only so far. But it is undeniably important. You can't have a choker under pressure and someone meek af. Say what you want about Kohli he is 100x the player Kela will ever be and captain.

 

Imagine a moron like Kela or Dk captaining India in the final of the wc against pak...Will be peeing their pants. A captain galvanizes his troops. These fools can't even keep their pants dry under pressure.

On a slow low used tracks he might work. This Harris looks like an absolute leg side hack. He thrashed  SA and BD bowlers. Most of the Pakistan batsmen are not really proper batsmen. They were able to attack most of the bowlers. Only at Perth and MCG there will be some challenges. Even there once the ball gets old you can have your way.  I say Hooda is better than most of the Pakistan batsman.
