Md Siraj : Can he be our next multiformat star bowler ?

Siraj should just play world T20. No bilateral T20s. IPL and be done with it.

Siraj is indeed a wonderful player and most importantly an impact player.

 

The way he led Indian pace bowling in Australia 2020 even though he was barely making the XI in the first test and then suddenly becoming lead bowler tell us about his willingness to do well at the big stage. The spell in Gabba 2020 and Lords 2021 were special.

 

Then in ODIs, he has hit immense consistenty in terms of picking wickets upfront match by match and hopefully, he can do it for 4-5 years more then he will be among India's finest pace bowlers.

Agree... being an all format quick bowler puts tremendous stress on body. We need to manage his workload.

with Boom back he may develop his death bowling more as well..and also on how to set up batsmen even further..nice to have guys like Bumrah to get advise from..

I want him at his best for World T20 next year.   Don't care about Tests for now. 

 

Can't keep losing ICC tournaments.

as of now, he is at his best in ODIs. he is blowing hot & cold in tests, and has not played many international t20s yet

I am not sure why the TM thinks he is an automatic pick for home tests. Hope he proves me wrong.

He was the worst bowler in 2023 wc for us. .

He is too loose, he has no consistency.Look at Jimmy even with trundling pace how he is bowling.

 

Siraj has no secondary skill.His fielding stinks also.

 

People need stop living in Gabba this, Gabba that.Pakistan were living in 2017 CT for ever.

 

Gabba happened long time ago, players are not going to replicate it everyday.

Still miles better than his replacement in last test lol. Can't imagine what these guys would have done to him on this flat track.
