Why can't TM take tough decisions from this series itself?

Like,  drop Dhawan from 2nd Bangladesh ODI itself. Unfortunately, other than Kishan nobody is there to replace him.  No Gill.

Why did Chetan Sharma rest Gill for this series? Has he played so much? Height of stupidity.

I would be tempted to drop Chahar and bring Umran Malik in his place but batting will suffer. 

Shahbaz looks ok and will only improve but how he will fare well with the bat, I don't know.

It is evident that they don't want to go with Kulcha as they do not bat.

I hope Hardik and Jadeja play from the SL series till the 2 Aus series in India.

Lord! Guy is averaging over 50 in his first 12-14 ODI, over 70 last year, and he should have done better? There lies the problem. To kick out oldies, younger batsman has to play like Bradman.

Simple answer to OP's question - it is because star players hold most of the power in this Indian set-up.  

TM can only make such decisions with approval of these players.
